LMT Waterjetting Solutions delivers two KAMAT high-pressure Power Units for sustainable, robotic hull cleaning worldwide

At LMT Waterjetting Solutions, we develop tailor made solutions using ultra high pressure water technology every day. Our LMT Power Units are used worldwide across a wide range of applications, from industrial cleaning to large scale infrastructure projects, always designed in close collaboration with our customers and partners. Recently, we successfully completed another remarkable project: the delivery of two LMT High Pressure Power Units, equipped with KAMAT high pressure pumps, for integration into an innovative maritime cleaning system.

Meet the High Pressure Power Units

International collaboration with impact

The global maritime sector is increasingly focused on efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for vessel maintenance. In this context, LMT provides reliable high pressure technology that plays a key role in advanced autonomous cleaning systems. This collaboration demonstrates how international partners can strengthen each other in their pursuit of innovation, safety and sustainability. While robotics and data analysis enable precision and automation, our high pressure systems deliver the power that drives these smart technologies.

From previous delivery to worldwide deployment

Following a successful delivery in 2022, LMT has taken the next step with the production and supply of two highly compact pump sets, each equipped with a KAMAT K18000 high pressure pump and a 160 kW electric motor. These powerful yet efficient units are integrated into modular maritime cleaning systems that are being deployed worldwide for sustainable and autonomous hull cleaning. With this project, LMT continues to support the development of innovative marine technology and contributes to cleaner oceans and a more sustainable maritime industry.

Together towards a future without biofouling

The vision behind this technology is clear: a future in which ships can operate free from biofouling. This significantly reduces fuel consumption, emissions and the spread of invasive species. At LMT, we share this ambition. Through our reliable and powerful high pressure solutions, we help partners achieve their sustainability goals, because true innovation only happens when we work together.
